BLM harass outdoor diners until one man pulls a gun on them
The Kentucky Derby was this past weekend and BLM protesters wanted to commemorate it, in part, by harassing outdoor diners in the name of Breonna Taylor, who died after her boyfriend opened fire on police officers conducting a search warrant.
These protesters, some of which were reportedly armed, began harassing outdoor patrons of the La Chasse restaurant.
That was when one of the patrons who was being harassed pulled out his gun to defend himself:
From the looks of it, the man with the gun looks like he’s holding a derringer, which I believe shoots a variant of .22 caliber:
Even though a small caliber, it was apparently enough to begin de-escalating the situation. As you can see in the video, even one of the BLM protesters who was open carrying a handgun was yelling at the other protesters to get away from man with a gun and move on.
Hayes Gardner, with the Courier Journal, didn’t report anyone getting arrested and about 15 minutes later reported the BLM protesters had moved on.
